Suntrakker I, the blue and white car, was built by my team of college students at San Diego State University and raced in the 1993 World Solar Challenge in Australia. It was a three and a half year project. We designed it , built it and raised $145,000. Spent lots of late nights.
The red car, Suntrakker II, was built by a new team of students and participated in Sunrayce 97 here in the U.S. - Solar car racing has been going on all over the world since 1987. |
